Meh. JLA vs. Looney Tunes happened. It passed away. No lasting harm was done either property. I refuse to be too worried.

Depending on the incarnation of the JLA, that might actually be fun. Probably more fun than watching Scrooge McDuck finance J Jonah Jameson’s political career.

I felt the same way back in the '90s when Marvel acquired Fleer trading cards. Nothing good can come out of this.

I'd be surprised if it does any harm to the movies, and I haven't seen a Marvel comic I really cared about since before... either when Heroes Reborn interrupted/ruined the PAD Hulk run or the end of the Byrne She-Hulk run, which both kind of blur into "early 90s undergrad years with no money" from this distance so I can't recall which came first.

Actually, quite a bit good can come of this.

Pixar + Marvel characters, for example.

Something Positive has one possible example of Darkwing Duck / Spiderman crossover

The news story is interesting, even if the people that they interviewed need to be shot. Put the Hawk's down? No. Even if they become too tame to be out in the wild, there's always other people with licenses to keep hawks, or zoos, if it was that bad for them.

And I'm just hoping Disney keeps their paws off the day-to-day working of Marvel and doesn't try to whitewash[1] the comics and bring things back towards being "family friendly". If that happens... I guess I get to save money every month!
